Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Fruit Extract

In our formulas, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Fruit Extract combines with Lactobacillus to form a multifunctional preservative.

This skin-friendly ingredient protects from fungus, specifically yeast and mold, while providing anti-inflammatory and moisturizing benefits.

Medium chain triglycerides (MCTs) in coconuts are known for their antimicrobial action, and fermentation with lactobacillus allows for increased bioavailability (read: effectiveness). MCTs work by disrupting the cellular structures of fungus and therefore rendering it inactive.
