Lactobacillus Ferment

In our formulas, lactobacillus combines with Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Fruit Extract to form a multifunctional preservative.

This multifunctional ingredient protects from fungus, specifically yeast and mold, while providing soothing and moisturising benefits.

Medium chain triglycerides (MCTs) in coconuts are known for their antimicrobial action, and fermentation with lactobacillus allows for increased bioavailability (read: effectiveness). MCTs work by disrupting the cellular structures of fungus and therefore rendering it inactive.
