Potassium Azeloyl Diglycinate
Potassium Azeloyl Diglycinate is a derivative of clinically proven hero ingredient azelaic acid and restoring amino acid glycine. It has several advantages, including complete solubility in water, non-irritating to skin, and effectiveness in low concentrations. It can balance skin tone, combat redness and texture, visibly improve inflammatory skin disorders such as rosacea, help heal the appearance of active blemishes and post-acne marks, regulate sebum and moisturize the skin.
In studies, Potassium Azeloyl Diglycinate has shown great promise in the treatment of rosacea by showing reduced erythema (red patches), flushing, stinging and burning.1 It has also shown clinical effectiveness in the treatment of melasma, which is a hyperpigmentary disorder characterized by dark patches or macules located on the cheeks, forehead, upper lip, chin, and neck.2
