The Basics
Our strawberry seed oil is a byproduct of the food industry, where upcycled seeds from strawberry processing are cold-pressed to extract this nutrient-rich oil. This upcycled approach minimises waste while preserving the oil’s full spectrum of beneficial compounds. It is abundant in essential fatty acids, including linoleic and alpha-linolenic acid, which are crucial for maintaining skin hydration and barrier function.1
Skin Barrier & Hydration Benefits
The high concentration of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids in strawberry seed oil supports skin barrier integrity, reducing transepidermal water loss (TEWL) and improving moisture retention. This makes it particularly beneficial for dry or sensitive skin, reinforcing the skin’s natural defences against environmental aggressors.2
Antioxidant Properties
Rich in polyphenols and tocopherols (Vitamin E), strawberry seed oil provides potent antioxidant protection, helping to neutralise free radicals that contribute to premature skin aging.
